The Monitor is a biweekly newspaper published by Equal Chance Communication Ltd since 2006.

The Monitor is a merger of two newspapers – The Vanguard and New Standard; and has as goals: providing a democratic space for the voiceless; promoting free speech; and keeping the ethics of good journalism alive.
